Kit Digital is an important initiative of the Spanish Government that aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available on the market in order to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity. This financial aid programme has been promoted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, financedby European Funds and aims to boost the digitalisation of companies. To this end, the Government will invest more than 3 billion euros between 2021 and 2023.
Kit digital is mainly oriented to the needs of small companies, microenterprises and self-employed workers belonging to any sector or type of business.
How to apply for the digital kit: requirements
Thedeadline for submitting applications and notifications will be three months from the publication of the corresponding call for applications, or longer if the call for applications establishes a different deadline. The requirements for applying for the Digital Kit are as follows:
- Be a small company, micro-company or self-employed.
- Comply with the financial and effective limits that define the categories of companies.
- Be registered and have the minimum length of service established by the call for applications.
- Not be considered a company in crisis.
- Be up to date with all tax and Social Security obligations.
- Not be subject to a pending recovery order from the European Commission that has declared an aid illegal and incompatible with our common market.
- Not be subject to any of the prohibitions set out in Article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Law on Subsidies.
- Not to exceed the minimum aid limit (small amounts).
how do I apply for the digital kit?
To apply for this initiative, you must first register at acelerapyme.es and complete the digital diagnosis test to find out how your company's digitalisation status is and discover where it needs to improve. Subsequently, if you meet all the conditions set out in the terms and conditions of the call, you will receive a digital voucher that allows you to access digitalisation solutions. To do this, you must choose one or more digital solutions offered by the digitalising agents that develop the services in the catalogue: website, e-commerce, social network management, customer management, business intelligence and analytics, virtual office services and tools, process management, electronic invoicing, secure communications or online cybersecurity. Finally, apply for the Digital Kit aid at the Red.es electronic headquarters (sede.red.gob.es).
The website category includes solutions that teach how to create a website for the SME in order to give visibility to the products it offers on the Internet and reach a larger number of users; in e-commerce, the aim is to create an online shop for buying and selling products and/or services; in social network management, you will learn how to promote the SME on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.; in customer management, the aim is to improve and achieve a positive evolution in the management of commercial relations with customers; business intelligence and analytics are used to improve the SME's decision-making; virtual office services and tools enable interactive measures to be established to make communication and collaboration between employees easier and more efficient; process management is used to automate aspects related to the SME; electronic invoicing serves to speed up the pace of invoice issuance using electronic invoicing; and the management of processes is used to automate aspects related to the SME; and the management of the SME's business processes is used to improve the management of its business relations with its customers.
how much can companies receive with the digital kit?
The maximum amount that small businesses with between 10 and 50 employees can receive is €12,000; the maximum amount that micro-businesses with between 3 and 10 employees can receive is €6,000; and finally, the maximum amount that micro-businesses with between 1 and 3 employees can receive is €2,000.
The companies or self-employed people who are going to receive this aid will not receive the money directly. What they receiveis the so-called digital bonus with which they will be able to acquire the goods and services they need for the digitisation of their businesses.
